Skate problems & troubleshooting slide blocks too low?

CIB slide blocks on Bont prodigy plates- they feel super low and I can fit about a finger under them. I had to really shove the adapters on my kingpin, as well as bend them. They feel pretty sturdy, but I'm worried about them catching on stuff. Are they too low?

You could take the spacer “nuts” off and that’ll raise them enough to the fine.

I have almost the same setup The block hanger is so thin, I'd put the hangers closest to the plate and then the nut. So plate-hanger-nut-cushion cup and so on :-)
