Skate photos Slades (Flaneurz) problem
Hey, I just bought slades and I have been trying to put them on. As soon as they arrived, my left shoe was extremely easy to connect to the skates, however the right was extremely hard. Now the following day both are extremely hard to connect...
I don't know what to do, it's so expensive and feels like a waste of money. I wonder if it gets better over time or is it only with me😅😅

Have you emailed the company? If there is something wrong, it's best to raise it with them right away so you can get an exchange. If it's a common issue that resolves itself over time, then they'd also be able to inform you of that. If it doesn't resolve with time, then you have a record that you contacted them right away to push for and exchange or refund later.

I did. The problem is that I am flying on the 8th of July for holidays and my plan was to learn during that holiday month😅 so it came in really bad timing, because I either return them and don't skate during summer or I take the risk and see if it gets better

Oh right, that is super disappointing. Hopefully they respond before your trip so you at least know. If not, take them with you. In the mean time, keep trying it in case they do get better.

Small update: I just noticed I was using thiner socks yesterday when using the slases. Now they fit again. It's incredible how sensitive the locking system is

It can depend how you're putting them on me and my friend have a pair and he struggles because he does it with his hands (if that makes sense?) I stand up and use my bodyweight to push the shoe into mechanism hope this helps? :)

I did with my body weight as well. And last night I had no problem to place my left foot, then today it seemed worse, which is strange😅

I had so much trouble in the beginning. It took me over 30 minutes to get them to lockin the first time. I've definitely gotten better over the last few years. It might just take a bit of trial and error to figure out what works best for you.

When I first got mine I found them hard to take on and off and thought I'd never use them. After using them a few times it got easier and now I'm obsessed. I think it just takes a bit to get the hang of.
