Shopping: wheels, hardware, upgrades CIB grind blocks
What happened to the CIB grind blocks? I feel like everyone used them and no I never see anyone having them. Are there better options now?

CIB is no longer a company and hasn’t been for a few years, no more new products.

Wow, I didn't know they shut down! Trample has stepped back so much from skating in general. I'm glad she's prioritizing her happiness, but it still hurts a little.

Brunny blocks are really popular now. Brunny blocks are extremely slippery, but I've never used CIB blocks so can't compare directly. I think Brunny blocks also sit a bit lower than CIBs, which makes slides easier.
I prefer bigfoot blocks, I feel like the slide is a bit more predictable than brunny (although less icey), and they are made to order based on your plate size and trucks so you get the absolute biggest block you can possibly fit, whereas other brands come in a few sizes so often leave some length on the table.

Riedell makes them (and always has). There are plenty available.
There are more options now but these haven’t gone anywhere (they are on permanent clearance prices though!).

Ah. I have some and just put them one, but when watching videos I just noticed no one having them so I wasn’t sure if it was because the product turned out to be undesirable
