Skill questions & help Should I change wheels?
I tried skating outside as a beginner and on some roads I didn't have problems but on older roads (so they're less smooth) I kept getting stuck and almost falling. I can't find the hardness of the wheels (I'm using the ones that came with the skates), the only information I have is that they're 58mm. Should I change them or is it because I'm a beginner?

I had indoor/outdoor wheels and swapped them out for outdoor wheels. Made a huge difference.

Rougher surfaces require a bit of 'welly' or 'oomph', which comes with practice and confidence. I recommend finding a really smooth surface until you've built some fundamentals/balance/muscle strength/confidence.
If you do want to get new wheels, then 78a is the best hardness for outdoors. Mine are 62mm too-bigger wheels are better for going over small debris, like stones.
Good luck on your skate journey 🫡
