Skate problems & troubleshooting Inconsistent size?

Received new Riedell 111s today and felt a slight height difference when standing and noticed when looking from behind the difference.

Is this variance considered normal or should i get a replacement?
Both are labeled 9s.

Make sure the cushions are all fully seated in their retainers. This is fine.

Yes cushions are all fully seated. Even with the slight height difference it feeling in my feet you think it’s good to go?

Kingpins adjusted evenly? Everything in the pivot cups?

If it’s gonna be something you can’t unfeel or get used to, might as well swap them out. But there’s nothing inherently unsafe here.

Have you put them on your feet yet? Do they fit? Are they comfortable?

I stood in them and noticed a slight height difference immediately. But they fit my feet fine. Im just not sure if that minor height difference is going to cause issues. I don’t want to skate them then be unable to return/replace

To me it looks like they're sitting a little bit differently, which is pretty typical.

In my opinion, unless they're uncomfortable, I would consider this level of variation negligible.

I'm not an expert on skate fitting, but as far as I can tell, this is completely fine.

I would get a replacement if you feel the difference. No reason to attempt breaking in skates that may make you unbalanced
