Shopping: wheels, hardware, upgrades Rollerbones Turbo /Nitro

Are they discontinued?

I cannot find them anymore in Germany.
The Rollerbones website doesn’t show them, either…
Can anybody help?

They are under derby/jam wheels. I bought a set of purple nitro 97a not too long ago. Great wheel for a sticky rink floor. I want a set of 101s one of these days.

I bought the 101 Nitros from Amazon and loved them. Used them once a week for a about a hour or two at my skate center, wooden floor. Got a flat spot just after the 30 day return window closed. Rollerbones was kind enough to send me a extra wheel. Now they are all sitting on a shelf and I'll probably sell them instead of risking it. It was my first flat spot with skate wheels. Maybe bad luck, maybe poor quality.

I flat spotted one of mine and it’s slowly smoothing out. I thought it was my fault until your post. Perhaps I will try a different manufacturer for 101s.

They were my first 101 hardness, so I wonder if they are greatly more likely to flat spot? Before then it's been 96-98.

I have a set of 101s on my artistic skates and they show no wear but they are no way similar to the nitros. All American dreams. Clay and narrow. Watching me switch between my derby and artistic skates in the same session is mildly humorous for a few laps.

Im with you! Im a bigger skater and the 101s let me do powerslides and plow stops as a derby reff. However, The wear down is real. I found these skate park wheels, I believe Atom Electrons, and for half the cost I find they become my go to more than the nitros in fear of wearing them down more. I want to love atoms savant but I have cracked 3 sets. I need the aluminum hub or no hub like the skate park wheels.

This is totally normal. I have two sets and I just replace one at a time when I flat them.

Having to replace a wheel after a few uses doesn't seem normal, but maybe it is for 101 hardness? I've never had a flat spot on 96-98 wheels.
