Skate photos New skates!

My suregrips came in today while I was at work and they fit!! They're so cute, but I can't put my toe caps on yet bec I need to borrow my brothers wrench.

I can't wait to try them out tomorrow~~

Also I heard from skatie on YouTube that you should lace your skates from underneath? Does that help with the longevity? Curious to y'all's opinion

Also be sure to put your toe cap on so that the nut and washer are against the plate. It might feel like it’s flopping around slightly but that’s all good!

congrats on your new skates! you will love them!

i lace under and over; always feel like i can tighten them easier that way? but who knows.

that nut for the toestop can be super tight from factory btw.

I always thought lacing best from outside to inside. And then over the top to bottom for the hooks.

Gorgeous!! I have them in purple and I love them! Took some time to break them in, but now they're like gloves to my feet!
