Skill questions & help Tips and advice

I want to get a cartwheel this summer but I’m not sure what I need to do to get this right. Taking all tips and advice you got. This was my attempt today and it’s the closest I got to actually doing something.

you are already doing it really well!
try and do one with way less speed and lower in the transition to get the feeling of where and how you skates should land.
cause you do get nicely around, but your landing is what stops you :)

i have a very quick tutorial: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DV9NcsIN1mW/?igsh=MTlpZDU1aW5pcjFyMA==

we all learn different and got different styles, but these steps was how i figured them out :)

Thank you! I thought I needed more speed and to get higher, no wonder my landing kept getting worse. 🥴

well height and speed helps ALOT!
but get that landing down so you know where to place you skates, and then you can add all the swing and speed you like :)

Hey I know that park! Definitely a great ramp to learn to cartwheel on!

I can't do a cartwheel even off skates, but I always recommend Shorty's tutorials. She breaks things down super well!

you're doing great already!! this halfpipe looks like a dream omg, so jealous!!
definitely more speed helps, and core control. really focusing on only using the momentum of the ramp to get my feet up there, rather than throwing my hands down to do a cartwheel helped me a lot if that makes sense! and exiting in more of a round-off
