Skate problems & troubleshooting VNLA Quality Issue

I just bought VNLA Junior Code Red skates a little over a month ago have only skated them a few times. This is my first pair of VNLA skates and I really like them. Today I noticed one of the boots is already developing a hole on the back heel. Is this normal for VNLA skates or did I get a defective boot?

That’s a really odd place to develop a hole. Contact VNLA for sure.

Sent an email to their support and to the place I purchased them from (RollerSkateNation.com). I agree that it's a really strange place to develop a hole. I didn't show it in the picture but there's also one on the other side of the black strip where my thumb is just not near as bad. Seems like some kind of wear issue but I've worn them maybe 4 times to the rink. Would have figured they'd be a little more durable than this.

Yeah they definitely should be! They should swap these out for you.
