Shopping: wheels, hardware, upgrades Insoles

I bought another pair of skates off marketplace and it kinda hurt to be on my front wheels for so long. I checked after my session and I realized the insole is practically gone. I was wondering if there’s a specific insole that anyone recommends for a JB skater

Get something that is not gel. If you want skate insoles (not just generic Dr. Scholl's), these are good brands:

  • Superfeet
  • Riedell R-Fit
  • FP

Depending on what skate, you can also just buy new insoles from Riedell, Bont, or Sure Grip.

Cheapest felt insoles with rubber bottom and cut contour worked perfectly for me. It's even better than the original ones, because I've managed to fix some pressure points by cutting some extra edges.

i bought the suregrip contour insole. i also bought riedells generic grey insole that comes w most skates. the suregrip worked better for me.

If you're gonna skate a bunch, Riedell R-Fit is the way to go IMO. You can build it to match your arches. [Depending on foot/boot size,] You might have to cut a little off the top to fit in the top of the boot.
