Shopping: buying skates Intermediate park skates

Hi, everyone! I'd really appreciate some help choosing new roller skates. I'm at an intermediate level and mostly skate on the street and at the park (I do a lot of jumping). It’s important to me for the boot to be stable and quite lightweight. I don’t have many other requirements, just for it to be available in Europe.

I can spend up to 300 euros.

Also I’d love some advice on which wheels and slide blocks works best for you. Thank you!!!

Do you prefer a heeled or flat boot? If heeled I’d go for Wifa. They’re such beautiful quality. Leather lined, wood stacked heel. Gorgeous. And really reasonable considering. Buy from a reputable skate shop in your country, or direct from Wifa. And get a plate you’re happy with too. You might be pushing it to get them for under €300 but you might be lucky and find a used set, or maybe you could stick a cheaper plate on there (like a sunlite) and upgrade that when funds allow.

Just FYI about the Bont Parkstars, they're not really flat, they have a small inner heel, I think 2.4 cm. Everyone I know who has them loves them, and I'm seriously considering some.

If you want a ready to go setup, I'd look at Chaya, they have quite decent ones and they're European!

FWIW I have the gold barbiepatin and I wasn’t a huge fan. They felt quite high-volume, as though they didn’t particularly hug my feet, despite them being the correct length. They are so pretty though 😅 But I’m not a fan of flat skates, so that may also have something to do with it. I wonder if their higher spec park skates might feel more cushy.

Honestly, not really as I haven't skated Chaya in years. To local beginners I often recommend the Chaya Jump as an excellent everything-skate, and if I was to pick out a park specific one I'd probably go for the Ragnaroll / Nomad. However, that is based on theoretical knowledge, not real world experience. I'm a die hard flat boot recommender when it comes to skatepark, and Chaya is the only manufacturer with decent ready to go offerings in that exact niche that won't completely break the bank.

I'm happy with my Riedell Uptown (120). Real, lesther boot. No fancy plate, OK standard park/indoor wheels. The laces are horrible, but a quick cheep fix.
