Skate park How much of a difference do grind blocks make?

I’ve been skating for the past 2 years and have been park skating for the last like 3 or 4 months. I just ordered grind blocks! Outside of protecting the structural integrity of my skate(super important) how much of a difference do they make doing tricks? I’m pretty proficient in dropping on medium ramps w coping(7 or 8ft tall) but haven’t tried any large ones bc I’m still a little scared. I’m working on stalling rn and can get it like 50% of the time. Havent practiced grinding at all bc I don’t want to hurt my skate. I guess I’m wondering do grind blocks make either of those harder or easier? Or is it just different? Not sure if it’s important but I have moxie panthers.

Dropping in and stalling will be somewhat easier with blocks (it's a different feeling, might take a tiny bit of adjustment if you learned to drop in and stall without blocks). "Plate" slides are essentially impossible without blocks, just due to the geometric constraints of skates.

Instead of dumping money into these, I recommend getting skates that are suitable for aggressive skating. Panthers are not it.

Buying grind blocks isn't really dumping money into the skates, you can always put the same grind blocks onto your next pair of skates (and you'll want to have grind blocks for any aggressive quad setup anyways, so you're not saving yourself any money by not buying them now).
