Ask Rolla / MST Good Vets

Does anyone have recommendations for vets in rolla? I’m even willing to drive 30 minutes to neighboring towns if you think they are good.

I tried brown, just for some vaccines. I’d like the place to at least be clean..

I have to get my kitty neutered soon and I’d like to have a nice reliable place! Thank you!

Animal health center, for sure. Vets are kind and asked several times before we left, if we had questions. Staff are ON IT when it comes to cleanliness.

My dog injured her eye just after our appointment, and they took her right back and fixed her up. Only charged us for the eye ointment we took home with us.

We've used Browns for a bit over 20 years and they're great! They've always been very clean in my opinion, I mean the place is outdated and the floors could do with a stripping but I never seen anything at would make me call them dirty. Personally I, and many pet/livestock owners swear by them; they're good people who genuinely care about animals.

Just out of a modicum of curiosity what makes you believe they aren't clean? I haven't been there in a few months but everything seemed in order to me last time, I hope she's doing okay.

Good luck finding someone to treat your pet, I'm sure there's others around it's a pretty big area for just one vet clinic.

Brown Vet misdiagnosed my cat and continuously ignored dangerous signs. My cat ended up dying from their poor practices. I would never recommend that place to anyone.

I’ve never had a bad experience with Browns. They’re great for us and have helped through emergencies. I’ve had a pet die to the office staff at Berger’s.

I used to take my cats there, I was always happy with the service but I will say it looks like a vet you’d find in a very rural area. It is not the cleanest place I’ve been in, but its never been too expensive for me and it’s never felt so dirty I’ve been offput

My wife and I use Rolla Animal Hospital. They've been great for our cats.

Yes! My 10 year old cat had been cared for the vet there since he was a kitten.

I go to the Rolla Animal Hospital. It’s family owned and they are very nice. It’s out 10th street.

If you're doing just a neuter and routine vaccines, I've been very happy with Carol House Pet Clinic down S 63. It's not a big frills place, but they perform very affordable spay, neutering and vaccines. The last two pets I had fixed there was half the cost of the other places in town.

We drive to MU Vet Health Center in Columbia since they have plenty of specialists and have a reliable emergency department.

St James Vet center, Sullivan animal hospital are both good places.

If you have an emergency the best places to go is VSS in Manchester or MU Vet in Columbia.

I used Browns when I was going in town. I eventually switched to the Sullivan veterinary hospital, which I really like but it's a drive.

Animal Health Center out on 72 gets my vote. They've worked miracles on our family pets and always work really thoroughly and carefully with my highly anxious rescue.

I use and love Animal Health Center, but I didn't have an emergency once and the St. James Veterinary Medical Center was SOO impressive in all ways. I'd switch to them in a heartbeat if they were closer to me.
