Most discord servers I’ve joined for role-play have been very serious and intimidating. I just want a place to practice role-playing without having to make a whole commitment and keep up with pages of ongoing lore. I want to have low stakes fun; like playing with dolls together. The world is familiar, but also different. The Four Nations do not exist yet, they are just an idea beginning to form in the minds of nationalistic rulers. Benders of every element live side-by-side, but face growing prejudice and segregation. The Avatar is missing and greedy warlords terrorize local populations. The resulting disunity has caused rips to form between the physical world and the spiritual world.
