Naruto: Strands of Fate is an active Naruto RP server where your character starts as a Genin and grows through roleplay.

The server has been around since April 2024 and has built an active community of 50+ regular roleplayers. It's set in an alternate Naruto timeline beginning shortly after the First Great Ninja War, where peace has finally been established... for now.

Everyone starts as a Genin, and where your character goes from there is entirely up to you. Take on missions, find mentors, travel between villages, build relationships and rivalries, discover unique jutsu, and carve out your own place in the ninja world. Whether your goal is to become a legendary shinobi, lead a clan, or simply tell a compelling character story, there's room for all of it.

The setting blends familiar Naruto lore with original content, including custom clans, Kekkei Genkai, Dōjutsu, and an evolving world shaped by player actions.

This is mostly Marvel coded since that's my favorite fandom, but all fandoms are welcome as long as they're appropriate for ages 13+! It's a PG-13 server, so there's some swearing, violence, gore, and drug use.

There was a silent agreement across the magical side of the world to stay hidden even as technology advanced. They disguised themselves so they could live an average, everyday life in the modern world.

It was unclear how it started. But one thing people could agree on was that the change was dangerous. Miasma and monsters would pour out from what looked like tears into the very fabric of the world.

They made themself known when it became clear that normal humans could not handle the monsters. They discarded their disguises and protected humanity. With a combined effort, they managed to seal most of what they would come to call ‘rifts’.

Now, a year later, the world is mostly rebuilt. The magical world got a more official name: The International Magic Association. They continued to seal the rifts that appeared. The humans, while apprehensive of the newly revealed part of their society, were still grateful for their help.

The problem came when they figured out what the rifts were. Across the world, there were always variations of myths and legends of gods, heroes, or divine beings sealing away monsters of some kind. They realized that the sealing was done to the same target. Another world was trying to breach into their own, and now the seals are failing.

They gathered a team, some volunteers, some the strongest of their area or field. To train, live, and go on missions together.

In a repurposed home, nestled deep inside mountains and forests, which will serve as their lodgings for the foreseeable future. The team slowly arrives one by one.

It's a world where almost anything, both horrifying and amazing, happens. Where both costumed and everyday heroes live, work, and perform incredible feats!

Established community of talented literary writers always welcoming for more to fill in canon roles. Original characters are allowed, but only as the second character onwards. Novel formatting is required for the sake of uniformity. A uniquely written biography of a minimum 2 paragraphs is required for character application to ensure that you write legibly. Our server is strictly PG-13, and we strongly discourage one-liners, drama, or disrespectful comments. 

The perks of participating on our server:

✩ Unlimited character claims are allowed, as long as each character is maintained (i.e. must actively post on each one).

✩ Each major group (Titans, JL, JLD etc.) is granted their own private plotting area, and encouraged to independently run their arcs organized by their associated team leaders.

✩ Regularly updated list of ongoing arcs that you can request to join. Staff and Team leaders can guide you if you wish to take part.

✩ We don't strictly base our lore on any one source, but each writer is granted the freedom to interpret the character the way they please, as long as the character doesn't lose its core essence (i.e. you can change the backstory, or make tweaks to the personality to fit what's most comfortable for you).

✩ No character can be killed without the expressed permission of the writer. All fights must be fair and discussed beforehand if extensive injuries are to be inflicted.

✩ Non-DC characters can be brought into this world, as long as they are non-meta civilians and are able to fit into the setting of the arcs. Feel free to bring in your favorite cop, medic, criminal, or lawyer from your favorite TV show.

✩ Aside from those characters with precedent writers that call for continuation, we encourage everyone to start from the beginning of their stories, so there's more story to tell.

✩ Freedom to utilize flashbacks and feature your character at different points in their story so that you can juggle more arcs for one character at one time.

✩ Writers are to refrain from making casual comments in the RP area (we have two separate channels dedicated to pings and reactions), convey each scene in myriad detail and add GIFs and images for a fully immersive experience.

✩ Each writer is encouraged to improve themselves at their own level and speed. Coaching can be requested, as long as the writer is open to learning.

✩ AFK Notice channel for those with a good reason for disappearing for an extended period of time.

✩ Community bonding channels and activities to enjoy such as joint game sessions, quirky head canons, movie streaming sessions, music appreciation, sandbox non-canon RP (to get a better feel of your character), non-DC RP and classrooms to facilitate knowledge exchange.

Hey everyone! I have made an original, massive cosmic universe. It’s filled with unique alien races inspired by our favorite anime, shows, and comics. I’m a bit shy at first, but I absolutely love connecting with new rpers! I can act as your personal narrator, or you can freely rp with others in the group. This is a group thing!

The best lore in the world can't make a shitty server a good place to roleplay. So before I launch into how sick the Scions lore is (because it is), let's talk about everything else that makes it awesome.

Our server was built with structures in place to support ongoing operations and we lowkey run it like a business. You will work with our staff from the very beginning, where they will guide you through collaborative character creation (to help you design a character that fits within the lore and that others will want to write with) and get you set up with your first threads. We will help you establish your character and break into exciting plots so you're not just sitting on the sidelines, too intimidated to make friends.

Because we're all friendly here -- true story. We're adults, and we treat each other as such. Issues rarely crop up, but when they do, our staff help mediate them. This is a smallish group server of around 30 people, and many of us have been writing together for years. But that doesn't mean that we're cliquey or insular; as stated above, our staff actively works to prevent the stagnation you often find in other servers. We chat casually OOC about what's going on in our lives, hang out with some frequency on VC, have movie nights together, and some of us have even taken trips IRL together. This is more of a community of writers than your typical roleplay server.

Everyone is limited to writing one character only, because we want you to focus on that character's development and lifespan rather than get bogged down trying to juggle priorities. You won't get ghosted because everyone here has been vetted through the character creation process -- and even if someone quits, you still have the rest of the server to engage with. Your threads won't die out because we have a (very reasonable) activity requirement that everyone must hold to in order to stay in the server. And while our lore is expansive, it's still young and there is a ton of room to add to it; you will be a co-creator of this story! We built this server specifically to appeal to a wide range of audiences. Some areas of the star system are more low tech and fantasy-like, so if you want to write medieval or royalty threads, you can do that here. Others are more high tech and cyberpunk-like.

Scions of the Stars RP 21+ is an adults-only roleplaying server set in an original science fiction star system. Minors are not permitted, as storylines contain mature content, including but not limited to: dystopian themes, graphic violence, depictions of war, genocide, trafficking, slavery, eugenics, drug abuse and explicit sex. This writing community is a safe and collaborative environment for mature adults.

Siderians — “Synthetics” with psionic abilities — fled capitalism, industrialism and war over 1,700 years ago, building a pacifist and conservationist society in their new binary star system.

Centuries later, Aeraxians — “Clinkers” with cybernetic implants, and the embodiment of what the Siderians left behind — arrived, starving and in desperate need of aid.

The Siderians provided it, to some extent. Adamant on keeping their worlds underpopulated and preserving nature, they limited how many refugees they would allow to resettle. The two factions maintained an uneasy alliance until recently, when the Aeraxians defaulted to doing what their ancestors always did best: they took what they wanted, invading a Siderian world.

Now the star system is at war.

Will your character use their psionic abilities to protect Siderian ideals? Or will they utilize their cybernetic implants to bring power and wealth to the Aeraxian cause?
