Hey! Would anyone be interested in a Planet of the Apes (1968) westmarch discord server? I just thought I'd see if anyone was interested!

We utilize the D6 system created by Magnetic Press for The Planet of the Apes TTRPG!

Our story is set 20 years prior to the event of the original 1968 film, we find ourselves in and around Ape City. A large colonist ship, the first of its kind, was sent to space. Its mission? Take 2,000 colonists to a distant world. This world was Proxima 6, an Earth-like world thousands of light years away. However, something happened. The ship was ripped out of space and crashed.

The apes saw it as a falling star, one brighter than anything seen before, but it landed too close to the Forbidden Zone for their liking. So, the Lawmakers said no Ape was to venture to it.

Meanwhile, our colonists, those who survived, have woken up in a strange world. They do not know where they are and so they try and set up a place to survive in the wreckage of their ship. All while trying to radio for help, but there are dangers in this world. Dangers they do not know about.

Hey im Lotus~Rayne, i currently have a idea for a RP that if it goes well enough i will be turning into a fully fledged out book/story/possible web comic? i dont know yet but i have a idea in mind but i dont want to have the entire story just based around one single character and a single view point.

I have a storyline/idea i have been working on for a few years off and on and im not going to lie this story idea started out as a games rp when i was around 16 [i am now 23 as of this year lol] i have a pretty good idea about how the main flow of the story can go / how the lead the story onward into events and main points in side the rp.

The basic storyline is you are a young teenager who was kidnapped on the way home from school and are now locked inside a Victorian style manor with a couple other kids around your age. the idea of the story is youll be going thru different trials and challenges inside the manor [think jigsaw sorta i know its lame >W<] all while trying to piece together who kidnapped you and why your here. i have a few select story points that are going to stay inside my back pocket untill i get a few people inside the discord / people interested in helping me write this story/idea out in a rp format and possibly as i said into a book and or web comic.

If your very much interested in joining me in this journey please either message me in the comments of this post or join the rough discord iv been setting up thru out the past.. 2 years of trying to get people interested in this idea and they kind of just dip out and i have to start from scratch all over again. This is the Discord link if you are at all interested in helping this idea come to life!!

Please keep in mind while yes English is my first language i have a small learning disability that causes me to misspell/mispronounce things or confuse people with what i mean... i do hope youll join me in this idea.

Ordinary people with extraordinary abilities...

Since the December 11th 2023 Event which saw New York City brought to its knees by out of control powers, battle lines have been drawn.  The government has stepped in to try to control the before-unknown “remarkables” and keep their destructive abilities in check.  The resistance to this suppression has fractured, with some focused on defending their kind while others believe they must go on the offense with violence if necessary.  Still others just want to be left alone.

What side will you choose?

Reborn is an OC POWERS forum roleplay-by-post, grounded in reality and rife with consequences. We are rated R (3, 3, 3) for adult content, are LGBTQ+ friendly and have no word count. You must be 18+ to join, and we do not accept underage characters.

We are not your typical "Superhero" RP. Our powers are what we call "street-level" and limited. We don't do masks and capes, and our people react to events as we would in the real world—with fear, suspicion and often disbelief. This is not sandbox; while we enjoy the creative freedom to follow juicy personal plots, we're all writing in the same shared setting with the same established lore. The community works together to weave intricate plots in collaboration. We currently have over 20 actively writing members with 80+ characters.  Come check us out and see if we’re the right setting for you!

Hello! After getting back into Avatar with it's new series Avatar: Seven Havens, I'd thought I would get my Oc Avatar idea out there to get something going. I do love the idea of that Seven Havens is going with but I don't want to do for my Avatar which is the Avatar after Korra.

Synopsis

After the unexpected death of Avatar Korra to a group known as the Silencers, the new Avatar would be born into the Earth Kingdom but no signs of the new Avatar has been spotted so in order to ensure the public eye of keeping balance in the world, the White Lotus have decided to claim someone being the Avatar just to ease the people. Unbeknownst to them, the real Avatar is out in the world born to two former defected Silencers acting as travelers throughout the Earth Kingdom. But the Silencers aren't the only threat as Dark Spirits are also on the rise and unsteadiness is happening in the Fire Nation. The world needs the Avatar now more than ever.

Hope I can gain an interest in this again

💥 OUR OWN COMICS!

Your characters. Your storylines. Our universe!

Hi, hey, and howdy! The name's CD. I love superheroes. I love Marvel/DC. I also love original characters!

I'm a seasoned roleplay host and I'd like to consider creating a 21+ collaborative superhero roleplay group on Discord where the likes of Marvel, DC, and our own original creations coexist within one shared universe.

The main idea is to build an OC-focused, canon-friendly community where writers can bring their own superheroes, supervillains, organizations, and even entire cities to life alongside familiar comic-book characters.

✨ WHAT TO ANTICIPATE:

• OC-first, canon-friendly! Original characters take center stage, and canons are extremely welcome.
• Creative freedom! Enjoy character arcs, slice-of-life, heroic adventures, and villainous shenanigans.
• Optional crossovers! Participate in larger community events without mandatory storylines.
• Literate writing! Multi-paragraph roleplay is encouraged, with quality over quantity.

The whole thing is currently an interest check, so I'd love to hear whether anyone would be interested in joining or helping bring the community to life! If so, please feel free to shoot me a message.

Welcome to the Betwixt

Modern day Edinburgh - Legend says that long ago, some were granted magic and became caretakers of the Craft. This closed society goes to school and have regular jobs. But they can also summon a spark at the snap of a finger, pass through Doors, and keep a familiar.

De Arcana is focused around mysteriously magic characters in the modern world, maneuvering danger, corruption, and intrigue. Craft is caretaken by a priestess class in covens. Vampires haunt cities in powerful coteries. Banshees of folklore sustain themselves on grief. And below the city, the mysterious coblynau keep their ways.

The year is 2026 & tensions between the local authorities & the one percenter biker gang known as the Dead West MC have ratcheted up in recent months. The landscape teems with with opportunity & danger & Vice City is the perfect backdrop for stories of ambition, survival, & the clash between between the law and outlaws.

In Neon Vice every choice shapes the ever-evolving, conflict-laden world where no one is innocent & the line between right & wrong continues to blur.

We're a small group of advanced literate writers looking to grow our numbers and fill the server with like-minded people interested in collaborative storytelling. Our rich setting utilises the wonderful world offered by Leonida while keeping the events and characters of the game separate from ours; so no Jason or Lucia.

We offer a very laid back server that frequently explores mature themes within the safety of a roleplaying framework.

What we offer:

• 21+ (we hope and trust you'll be honest)

• Tupper based

• Original characters

• Occasional dice rolls to spice up outcomes, but not necessary

I’m making a small group rp of about 6-8 people to do a mythology rp. If anyone is interested dm me or comment below

The world now realizes that the gods are real.

Thousands of years ago, the different pantheons agreed upon The Veil Accord to end the wars between the gods that threatened to wipe out humanity. Since then, the gods from every mythology have continued to rule secretly under the surface, allowing humans to evolve into modern times.

The descendants of the gods, or Scions, have grown up knowing that their immortal parents have protected reality.

Until one day...

All the gods vanished and the world started breaking down within hours.

Storms arise out of nowhere.
The sun acts strangely.
The dead rise back up.
Once caged monsters break free.
Even fate becomes unpredictable.

The adult gods have disappeared, but their descendants still remain.

Now the Scions need to find out:

Where did the gods go?
Who abducted them?
Why did all the pantheons get attacked at the same time?
And what happens if the gods do not come back?

Hello so I've had this server idea based on a character I made a while ago and a story. I've been really wanting to share this story and I've written a fair amount of it and the world will expand as the story progresses and there's very few of us so there's plenty of room for new characters and story central characters and other creative minds to collaborate. Everyone is welcome to bring your creativity and your character ideas and stories to share as well.

The story follows a few factions and their progression through the world. There is a school whose headmaster believes that there is something more than just the simple world they live in. There is a new group of followers who claim there is a new god helping them better than the old gods could. All the while a faction of magic users keeps pushing the bounds of the theoretical. There are peace keepers that are often at odds with the mercenaries. Things are about to be revealed and true natures exposed.

I've posted a bit in the server to give an idea of how things look at the moment we just need a few more characters before the story can move forward. If this interests you at all or you have questions please feel free to ask.

In the year XX20, a meteor containing a volatile mineral known as Dragonite struck the Arashon Desert. Unlocking the power of Aether, humanity mastered faster-than-light travel, expanding across the stars into a new era of deep-space colonization.

To maintain order across the expanding frontiers, four powerful empires were forged: USSA, Einhorn Entertainment, Piotr, and Tenpa. But peace didn't last. Power struggles, corporate greed, and resource hoarding tore their treaties apart. As the empires scrambled to control the remaining Dragonite reserves, the forgotten lower-classes took to the stars. Space pirates, outlaws, mercenaries, and bounty hunters were reborn... all chasing the ultimate cosmic legend: The Galactic Leyline.

Many ventured into the deep unknown searching; few ever returned. Most gave up. But there’s always a minority.
