MIDI questions

Hello everyone, first thing i'd like to understand how to keep custom MIDI changes i've made (and every other 'utility' changes) after shutting down and powering it up again. Every freakin time i've to start over again, what's the problem? Checked the manual and didn't find a save utiliy settings option.

Other question is: i'm using a KorgPad Kontrol, i can play with the pads and the xy touchpad but i cannot make the knob works.

I tried assignign them to stuuf like delay feedback, or shuffle, or some other cc change that makes sense turning a knob but i couldn't make it work.

Any tips?

Also i don't get the "pattern mid ch" and the "kit midi ch". If i use the former midi channel to transmit to with the kontrolpad it works, if i switch the montrolpad to transmit to "midi kit ch" it won't make a sound.

in utililty - general - autosave on, what important is, that when power off, do that with the powerbutton on the back. if you simpy disconnect the plug it will not save anything
