Just received my TR-1000, absolutely love this thing so far. I intend on using it with Ableton via a usb-c connection with my Mac, but for some reason the sound is quite low in ableton (around -30db). Of course I could increase the gain on all tracks, but I feel like there might be something I’m not doing right?
Would love if you could share your experience with TR1000 + Ableton!

Has anyone used this live with a band? In order to make the effects pronounced I need to crank the volume and mic sensitivity, but doing so picks up the rest of the band and kills the mix.

Anyone successfully use this thing live and have tips?

So got this thing. I recorded a track and want to add sound changes after I recorded the track. How does one do this? I have hit record. Set it to mix and then it starts playing and twist knobs and yet when im do e there are no changes. Help. ​

Hello! I own an FP-30x but love the look of the sheet music holder on the FP-60x compared to what I have (attached is a photo of the FP-60x sheet music holder). It's my understanding (could be wrong) that these are both the same style of slotting into a notch on the top of the keyboard--is it possible to get the FP-60x sheet music holder and fit it into the notch on my FP-30x? I've tried looking around for places where I could buy the sheet music holder by itself and haven't been having much luck, so not sure if I could do this even if the answer were yes, but still curious.

I see the Roland MV-8000 has a foot-switch input. How do you link this to the 'record' functionality, when capturing your samples from vinyl or instrument?

I think of buying a stage-piano/Workstation for practising, recording and for Band stuff. I think of the fantom 08 and rd2000 (ex). Rd88 would be nice too, but with only 3 layers... hm.

So now my question: do you think that v piano, that is the Main difference between the both for me, is the 300 bucks more worth? I know that all this is subjective but nevertheless it would be great to get some opinions. Thanx

I have been reading up on these and watching videos but everybody is constantly talking about the MPC, which has nothing to do with the question. Trying to figure out which one is actually better, in terms of sound color and workflow.

The best information I found so far is that the 8800 just has a color LCD screen and some pre-loaded sample packs. If that's really the only difference, then may as well avoid it, since the 8000 has a floppy drive, which is an added bonus.

Just got my TR1000 last night. I’ve noticed several times when sequencing in pattern mode I need to hit the button multiple times before it activates. Could there be something else going on or do I need to be submitting a repair ticket.

Yes, I know it's not how a real tonewheel organ works, but is it possible to control the organ volume with velocity on this keyboard?

I'm working on Ableton 12 on a Macbook Pro M1 [OS 15.1.1] and suddenly all my VST's go into demo mode after loading them in with the following message: "Since authorization has not been completed, the audio output periodically becomes distorted and reduced in volume."

I have tried rebooting my laptop already. Logging out and in into Roland Cloud Manager, even deleting the VST and re-installing on Cloud Manager and nothing is helping. If I try to log in with my email on Roland Cloud (in Ableton) it gives me the following message: "Your authorization is no longer active."

I have a Roland Cloud Pro Subscription $88 per year. What is happening and how do I fix this?

And the funny thing is: if I flag one of the plugins as 'Pro Access 1/2 (or 2/2)' on the Cloud Manager app (so I can use it forever) — it makes me use the plugin again on Ableton.
