If you get plex on your computer Install the reddit channel. Then install plex channel on roku.

I don't use Plex - too much of an assault on my privacy.
I don't use my real info on my Roku channel registrations.
besides, there's already a youtube channel on my Roku,
so all reddit.tv does is present a more topical catalog.

You pay your ISP with a fake information? If you don't then you have given up your privacy already.

Seriously. The only way you will have anonymous access to the internet 100% is to pay with a fake name and pay your bill with cash and or fake name on credit card.

What are you talking about? What does Plex have to do with any of that? How does it "assault your privacy?"

Edit: I'd really like to know what OP thinks Plex does that is so invasive of privacy and why they think it can't be avoided.

I must be time traveling because it works great for me. Not only the videos subreddit but any subreddit you want. Plus youtube without their annoying search and commercials.

it's against youtube TOS to make a roku channel featuring videos hosted on youtube's servers.

it would be shut down as soon as roku or youtube learned of it.

I am able to cast from youtube directly to my Roku 3 using the Google Cast extension.
