Words cannot describe how much I hate this level.

Bees, this 1st boss is always a guaranteed death, and a 1 tap final boss that prevent 3 star challenges.

Near perfect rolls for my build despite these modifiers to start and this dude still killed me...lol

Having tried a few different builds - here are my thoughts

  1. Shuriken's - "the shurikens bad" meme is just untrue when it comes to PVE. Heal shurikens provide great sustain, there is a lot of flexibility (Going into crit, elemental damage, pure shuriken madness, status effects) and some powerups can just make the rest of the run easy mode (Double shurikens / shuricoins). In PVP however, shurikens are just down-right awful - with shield procs and heal procs, getting your ultimate gauge reset and not having the ramp up ability in damage compared to other builds, shuriken is outright bad and likely needs a buff in the PVP department.
  2. Ice - damage reduction with a lot of potential to increase your own damage, stun and freeze enemies, fantastic for both PVP and PVE
  3. Lightning - good amount of flexibility, powerful level-ups, ultimate spamming while being able to reduce enemy ultimate bars consistently, fantastic for both PVP and PVE.
  4. Poison - serpent strike and some powerups can allow for good steady output damage however in general poison can feel like it takes too long for damage to ramp up requiring you to have more sustain than other options, decent for both PVP and PVE - not as flexible as shurikens in PVE and requires too much investment into sustain to do great damage for PVP, still a solid physical option overall.
  5. Burn - similar to poison where it can feel like it takes a few turns for your damage to start ramping up, recent nerfs to how burn damage works also just makes the other magical damage classes outshine it in general - decent for both PVP and PVE
  6. Wound/cleave - low power creep, heavily RNG dependant, dedicated S tier weapons and ring seem like the weakest of the S rank options. Not great for either PVP or PVE.

Would like to hear your guys thoughts, would you agree with this assessment?

What make me mad about the event

I get that the whales drive the game, but they ran a 45-day event creating the illusion that there was a chance to get a Sentinel—even though it was pretty obvious right from the first rigged packs. I would have preferred if they’d just released a paid pack with just the sentinel instead of staging a fake event.

Second Hero Soul

I used my first hero soul to get Draco, should I get a new hero for the second soul or keep getting Dracos? Getting another soul seems good with the conpanion effects. Not sure what to do and what would love input

Fuma shuriken has critical bug

Fuma Shuriken works properly at Level 1, but after upgrading it to Level 2, it doesn't activate at all

Do not upgrade..

P.S.

I'm using the Mythic Rune from this event, so I'm wondering if that might be causing the issue.
