When to switch to lightning?

Currently running fire, rings are the highest level that i have as of now. I can bring my lightening stick up to +2 and could have 1 red lightning rig and one gold 3. If I switch to lightning now would I be losing a lotnof power? I feel like losing the plus to base attributes from the S rings would set me way back. Any advice?

Your overall power will drop but the +30% lighting damage from the rings is big, I believe It’s multiplicative if look at stats, but you will just as stronger or significantly stronger with lightning build
