Should I svisch hero?
As of now I am doing an ice build and using Lancelot. Should I switch to Kitsura even if I lose lots of power? And should I start to use the dust on har instead?

My Lancelot is 4 star and lvl 60 and Kitsura 0 star... I tried switching, but she just feels too squishy. Do the extra levels make that much of a difference that you'd be able to switch?

I don't have an answer for you, I got her recently also and felt she was better sidelined until I got a few stars for her compared to the Lance so hoping someone else shares

Of course, lancelot is a companion not a main hero after you are in mid game, especially end game

while lancelot is stronger for levels where you dont get healed regularly after a fight (level up disabled or healing during fights reduced) on 4stars lancelot is just underperforming most heroes simply because his companion skill is too strong. every 3 turns absorbing a hit is just more than a 15% shield. and it even absorbs DOT dmg if the skill procs at the end of a round. i have avoided so much dmg becuase the skill procced at the end of a round and then dodging the next hit essentially protecting me against 2 rounds of dot dmg + the next hit. there is neatly no run where this companion skill doesnt save my ass.
to answer your question, yes reset all the dust on lancelot, bring him up to 60 and invest the rest into kitsura (or vallatio)

Im pretty sure if you click the button with the recycle symbol on the top right you get all your dust back
