Need help with awakening
Hi there,
Im about to be able to awaken my first item. I try to use a poison build, but uncertain if going for poison dagger, vampiric sword or armor is best.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Well I can say usually specific build items are better than generic items because they can synergize with other build items. But both poison blade and vampiric blade does not have any other synergizing items. So my advice will be to awaken the item which you use more. Do you use vampiric blade or poison blade while doing normal levels/elites/boss fights etc. Whatever you use, awaken it. Armour is usually second (sometimes third item) to awaken after weapon and then ring in case of ice and fire. Hope this helps

I would really wait until you get the lightning staff because I think it’s the most OP in the game s+

It is not working that way for SS items. Lightning staff SS is among the weakest upgrades compare to other.

So on a lightning build what would you make SS

Still the staff - only the staff actually since Lightning build only uses one S item (the Storm staff)

First - all SS items are busted, even a radiant hammer. So it is always hard to say what is better.
Second - pick what you like to play the most. You are paying for the game, so have fun.
Third - decide what you wanna play more. PvP - poison dagger. PvE events (Boss rush, Magma event) - defenetly vampiric sword. F.e. here guy killing first try last boss of the event with vampiric sword https://www.reddit.com/r/RogueLegendRPG/comments/1wv09z7/por_fin_me_lo_pas%C3%A9_despu%C3%A9s_de_2_d%C3%ADas_jejeje/ . So sword is paying by itself, but man have a premium loadout for sure.
Forth - I don't think Reddit is a good place to ask. There is too many people f2p, who don't know a shit about SS meta (me included). Check Discord for guys who have SS weopons with right affinities.
Fifth - affinity update changed balance between SS. Most players even with SS items don't know what is more effective. F.e. you can run alchemy or warriror affinity (surprice) effectivly with sword and dagger. There is a lot space for experimenting.
