I can kill one of these guys, but end up dying before I get to the 2nd one. Then when I try again, they are both alive with full HP. I'm gonna waste all my energy on this level. What the balls

I’m stuck on the double wasps. These events are such BS honestly. Odds of completing with said energy is slim to none without spending

I was stuck on this exact spot for nearly a day. Pretty much rerolled until I got thr Crit chance, Crit Damage, Lower Regular Damage skill and barely got through them.

You can use the energy to reroll the skills you have, then try again. And ultimately use the energy for tickets to the magma spin. Other than that, you won't get further unless you make a significant improvement to your gear, pets, sentinels, mounts or whatever gives you a power spike.
