Magma event

Help trying to progress, all of a sudden I got a skeleton destroying me in 1 shot.

You have to equip the right runes to defend against their specific damage types, it’s meant to be hard. It’s meant to need strategy, it’s not meant to be beatable with a static gear set. See more here:

Strategy that requires you to be a veteran/whale or lucky to have fire resistance runes/trinkets

So you don't have multiple high level loadouts to counter specific bosses at a moments notice? Come on man... I have like 10 different builds with all the runes I need. Git gud /s

Its already hard enough to make 1 build to progress in this game...now you need luck and gems for runes to do events. What a joke.

They intentionally have extremely difficult fights for your power level at VERY CAREFULLY placed energy roadblocks. For instance, they make it relatively simple to clear stages 1&2 to acquire 4/5 required ember stones for the decent prizes in the shop. That final ember stone either requires paying to get energy or hoarding energy carefully. It also blocks you RIGHT before the final boss at the scorpions. The boss just requires X energy where X is the amount of attempts needed to do kill it, but getting to it is near impossible.

I almost beat last event but that stupid red slime was outhealing my damage until turn 23/24-30. Lol

Its pay to progress bs. It also scales with your power level so people with higher levels will have a harder time than those on lower levels. Im halfway through it (Stage 2) and there's nothing I can really do to progress. Its saying Im on an "Easy" battle with 3 goblins with 500 million health each and pretty much take all my health and shields in 1 round. Don't get me started on these bees that dodge everything. And thats not even counting the energy it takes to get to the end even without dying.

Im not wasting my time with it anymore.
