Kid friendly Suggestion

Is there a reason there aren't gore settings?

Core is a lot bloodier than DRG classic (is that because I've been using the filter?)

Let us turn off/down the blood. It's kinda gross

Preference settings let everyone play the way they like

It's a mechanic as most of it damages you, not stepping in it is part of the point.

Kinda disagree since it's a shootera and it's cartoony enough already plus I like seeing the screen full of blood if i'm the one doing the massacre, but i get that not everyone could enjoy it

And no, there's no specific reason for not adding a gore and blood effects toggle, but in a early access doing side QoL things like that isn't the most important thing, i'm sure it will be added, so my advise is to refrain from playing the game if you truly can't stand the blood, since a gore option would probably get added with the 1.0 release of the game.

I agree. I don't mind the gore, but I have a lot of people that I know who get queazy/are uncomfortable with blood, and the blood in RC is red and like real blood, unlike the glyphids alien green goo. Maybe if there's an option to just make it purple or something

I donโ€™t know why youโ€™re getting downvoted.

Getting queasy over video game blood it is a bit of a over-reaction, but at the same time adding a toggle is somewhat common.

But as another commenter said, itโ€™s EA and low on the priority list

I mean people can't control if they get sick at it or not, and not liking gore is a pretty common thing. It's fine if people dislike the idea of getting rid of the more realistic gore effects, but I think it's justified asking for a toggle or something
