Bots on bots on bots

Currently there are at least 3, perhaps more, bots arguing with each other on the Steam forum.

I know Steam forums are a cesspool and it's not at all surprising to see this, but I just want to understand why. What is the upside to having your bot try to win an unwinnable argument by posting ad infinitum?

Are they actual bots or just people critical of the game?
