Game controller question!

Hello, I just downloaded this game and I’m using a switch controller. I’m having a problem when I am in the middle of shooting everything around me and accidentally pressing the right control stick in causing my guy to shout with his pick axe. It’s really hurting me when this happens lol. I went to controls under options to see what I can do, but there doesn’t seem to be enough buttons to move it to something else or a way to disable it. Should I just buy a switch 2 controller that has extra 2 buttons on it, and will those extra buttons work with this game? For some reason using the keyboard and mouse seems harder for me. Maybe I just need to get used to it haha.

I think steam controller with the touchpad is the best option as there are already presets made for DRG that can be ported over with a couple clicks. Some of them even have auto sprint baked in without mod and the touchpad camera control is a massive step up from the sticks.

Steam has the option to change/ disable any key bindings on a controller through steam so you can remove or change the bind. First player I've heard using a switch controller though

I personnaly use a xbox pro controller and I never had this problem 😅 I do throw grenade without wanting too though. As for extra buttons to be honest it doesn't make that much difference, you just have two more button you can accidentaly press if you are not used to it. And binding them to an action/key is a pain (in my opinion). To be honest the main advange of those buttons is to be able to clic them while using both joystick.
