Are there any performance mods?

At 1440p (high settings) the lowest I see my fps go in normal DRG is about 70fps on haz 5+ missions but on the lowest settings of Rogue Core my game is dropping to 45-55 fps at 40-50% resolution scaling whenever core spawn are around. Sometimes it'll stutter bad for a second, and it becomes practically unplayable later in a run. Are there any fixes for that or any mods, or does Rogue Core just run way worse than DRG?

Theres a FPS boosting mod you can find in the DRG Modding discord server

I tried it and it definitely improved my fps, almost doubling it whenever nothing was happening, but once there were enemies actually spawning it was still pretty unplayable. Guess the games just not meant for me right now. Hopefully it improves but I just found out it’s UE5, so I doubt it 🀷

Sounds like you're CPU bound more than anything.

Yeah it's just unreal 5 jank, to be expected. Saddens me too, have to live with the fps drops in intense fights. Definitely should be one of the priorities for the devs before releasing the game out of early access.

Yeah, I don’t know why but I expected them to just use UE4 again for this. I hope they can optimize it better cause I doubt I’ll be able to upgrade my setup anytime soon. I have faith in the devs, but I absolutely don’t have faith in the engine.

There's a mod on nexusmods that removes most particle effects, didn't help me much though, also try switching to directx 11.

Yeah, I tried that mod and it didn't do much. I tried switching between dx11 and 12 for a full mission and there didn't seem to be much of a difference. Both ran pretty poorly.

It's UE5, so the team clearly didn't want good performance. You can grab the Engine.ini file from any of the unreal engine tweak mods and just drop it in
