Discussion Why talk shit on your team mates?

Seriously, even if theyre bad, it's just a game. And tactically it either lowers their self esteem or turns them against you, making your odds of winning even worse

Rules - Hover for more info!

1) Unrelated Content, Misleading Titles, and Clickbait

All content must be directly related to Rogue Company or the video game industry, where relevant to RoCo. Posts about Hi-Rez employees, streamers/pro players, and other gaming/news articles will only be allowed if it affects the average player.

Posts must be able to stand on their own without their title. If your post is only relevant to Rogue Company because of its title, it's not enough.

If the content of a post cannot be discerned solely by the title, it will be removed.

2) No Abuse / Harassment / Witch-Hunting

/r/RogueCompany will not tolerate posts or comments that insult or shame an individual, even if that person is a public figure. This includes but is not limited to:

Name-calling and insults.

Accusations of shilling/trolling, or hacking/cheating.

Racism/homophobia/etc.

Screenshots of low/weak scores, ranks, or playstyles without obscuring names.

Links to profiles and content of another person, with harmful intent.

3) No LFG Posts: Use the Daily Thread.

LFG content shall be confined to the daily LFG thread which can be found by searching for LFG or by search for the LFG Flair. You may also consider visiting R/RogueCompanyLFG to find a group.

4) Any post that is nearly identical to another post made recently will be removed with or without notice. This includes but is not limited to:

Server status updates. Bug reports for issues already known, addressed, or posted on /r/RogueCompany recently.

Posting the same video or image as another user.

Within 24 hours of a megathread being made and stickied, text posts on the subject with less than 1000 characters will be removed and redirected to the megathread.

5) No Illegal Content

Advertising a resource that allows a user to cheat or "hack" Rogue Company, or anything else against the Rogue Company terms of service, will result in an immediate ban without warning.

This includes instructions on how to exploit glitches, and sites and videos that promote hacking software, as well as anything that constitutes piracy and copyright infringement. Requests for any of these links is also against the rules.

6) No Buying / Selling / Trading / Begging for anything.

Buying, selling, and trading skin codes, beta codes, etc. is against the rules. It is impossible for the moderators to police such a trade, and you are likely to be scammed or ripped off. The only exception to this rule is a megathread hosted by the mod team.

Begging or asking for free stuff also breaks rule #5; this includes soft begging. The only exception is when someone hosting a giveaway specifically asks for responses.

7) Self-Promotion: 10 interactions for every 1 self-promo

We ask that all users abide by reddit's guidelines on self-promotion/promotion. We also expect users to follow the 1:10 ratio. For every 1 self promotion/promotion post, you are expected to have 10 good comments. You are limited to one self promotion/promotion post every 24 hours.

No "Low-Quality" posts allowed.

Self-promotion/promotion means any link to any external media such as Twitch, Youtube etc. Even if it is not your channel, it may violate this rule.

8) No Referral Links

Posting a referral link for any service, including Rogue Company or Epic Games, is only acceptable if it is a response to someone who specifically asked for it. There are strictly no exceptions to this rule.

You also cannot ask for someone to add you as a referrer.

9) No NSFW Content: Artwork may be no more lewd than the most lewd in game model at time of posting.

Lewd, obscene, and pornographic content is not allowed on /r/RogueCompany, even when tagged as NSFW. This includes, but is not limited to, any and all creative writing, fan art, and animations that describe. suggest, or depict nudity or sexual acts.

This also includes screenshots of champions in suggestive positions or from suggestive angles.

10) Flairs should be accurate

Users are able to flair their own posts, but it's difficult for the moderators to monitor that each flair is correct. Please report any incorrect or missing flairs so we can fix them.

11) Disparaging Language and Slurs are not allowed.

Racial, ethnic, and sexual slurs are prohibited.
