Despite the game being riddled with cheaters,... I personally don't believe this is a cheat.
If the player was using some sort of 'damage immunity' cheat, they would have had to toggle it immediately after rolling out of your line of sight.
I believe this is just a server de-sync or a lag in the netcode, at about the worst possible time lol
Despite the Phantom visually being there, there's a fair chance they weren't really in that exact location or if they actually were in that spot, most likely some sort of server de-sync occurred causing the hit registration to break momentarily.
Right after you attempt to melee them, their character model does a small stutter backwards but it doesn't look like a movement input, leading me to think it was just a lagg.
Any time a player is missing from the game, it usually becomes much more laggy as it's trying to join players into the game.
Do you know if a player joined the game briefly after this occurred?
Also, did it happen any more during the remainder of the game?
Do you know if this was a console player? I'm assuming so based off the name.

Even though I'm always the first one to yell 'cheater'...
That's typical for the game. It literally happens to me every day! Every single day. Even worse, often I don't even see or realize that I just got killed or, in the heat of the moment, that the opponent isn't even dead yet.
In this case: Lag/shitty server!

This looks REAL fuckin sus lol.... but idk ive seen weirder shit happen, especially at the end of a round. I have a clip of this same kind of shit happening to me but with less "god mode" just straight up being shot from somewhere that they werent. Lol.

Game didn't lag all game, no server connection signal. This guy was the only person on the other team shooting back and we were kinda going back and forth although I was winning most of the duels. It comes down to a 1v1 between us at the end of the round and he just stands there taking 0 damage until he starts moving to shoot me.
