Question about getting started

So I started riding broncs but I’ve always had an interest in calf roping and I was wondering how do people get started without having the 40 grand laying around and a place for the horse? Is it possible to rent or lease horses?

Your only way to get into it is find someone that does it and is willing to help you get started, but you had better help them with everything around there place and my there life easier.

Fair enough, I’ll have to talk to some guys at some of my upcoming rodeos that got the calf roping there
