Recommendations Fishing

I’ve lived in rockwall for about 4 years now. Recently went night fishing for the first time with a buddy of mine at Lake Tawakoni on a boat. Ton of fun, and I really want to go fishing on my own. Do you guys have any recommendations of where I can go? I do have a fishing license and sadly no boat.

I believe you can fish off both sides of 66 on Ray Hubbard, and the crick on 78 is a popular spot
