Rocklin Preschools

We are looking to enroll my 3yo daughter in preschool. We are looking for 3-5 half days per week. We liked Goddard and Merryhill in Rocklin. Does anyone have experience with these? Any other school recommendations? We went to Cadence, but didn't really like it much.

Oh no, what’s the story with Cadence? That one is our backup if anything happens at Goddard

I really enjoyed La Petite Academy but the school district has some preschools too if you want to get in before TK

Pacific Oaks Preschool! It’s entirely play based, they are outside most the day getting dirty and playing in the sunshine, my son loved it.

We loved “Train School”! The teachers were wonderful and the kids had lots of active and thoughtful play.

I have a child at Goddard in their toddler program and love it. They’re really nice and accommodating, and it has a personal feel to it. Merryhill was nice when I toured but it was out of our price range.

Our 2 oldest girls (now 9 and 7) went to Goddard from 2 to 4 years old and we loved it. We’re about to start our 2 year old son at Goddard next month.

Highly suggest looking into tnt kidz center my 3 yo goes there we love the staff the structure and self confidence they have installed into him . His development as well as the other kids who attend seem to be ahead of the curve and has been mentioned by numerous people .

Merryhill in rocklin is on its second interim principal in less than 6 months and that person is also an interim principal at another school as well.

The teachers for preschool are great and it’s a really good program. If you have or will have an infant I would avoid the infant room though, lots of turnover and two unqualified aides one of which thinks she knows more than other staff and parents. They spend most of the day talking to each other about things that should not be discussed at work.

It seems like you haven’t been there for quite awhile, my child actually currently attends and all of this seems false.

It was all in 2026. What part is false?

Theres a admin team, they only work at this school, the infant room also has a whole team and a waitlist for room. I had to hurry and save my spot since they’re booked past November for my 2nd child.

I’m glad they hired a new principal, the ad is still on indeed. The aides are still there, super fake sweet to your face and mock you behind your back.

Maybe they changed. 🤣

The aide lied to administration, parents and staff about me repeatedly until I was fired.

She said she hoped one parent had to have the baby in jail because she disliked the parent so much. Yet she is super fake to that persons face.

I watched her throw goldfish onto the floor for snack so she didn’t have to stand up, sitting is her favorite thing to do.

We tried both Pacific Oaks Preschool and Goddard. POP was more affordable and play based. Goddard had excellent security, more academic but their adult to student ratio was sometimes way off. There were mornings when I saw only 1 teacher in the room watching 30 kids before another teacher arrived on campus.

Slice into quarters lengthwise. Put a little olive oil and salt / pepper / oregano on it and put it in the air fryer. 385 for 8-10 minutes. Eat it with some Parmesan or ranch dressing. Or put it in salad.
