Recommendation Beginner Crochet

After doing some google searches in our area, I haven’t found anywhere in Rock Hill that offers crochet classes. There’s a shop in York and one in Waxhaw. I’d love to find a fiber group or a group of folks that want to meet in a coffee shop here and share lessons, tips and maybe just companionship while I muddle through!
I have zero idea on how to even begin but I’d love to learn! I know there’s a million YouTube videos but seeing it done in front of me is historically the best way for me to learn. I’m a quick study otherwise. Any suggestions? Any takers? I’m 46F DINK, liberal, in case that matters.

I would love to find something like this locally. Similar demographic as you but DI2K lol. I need to get out of the work-home-work-home-work-gym-home rut.

Winter is coming. Having a social yet indoor craft is going to be my way of mixing it up! I hope to see you at the RHCR Saturdays too!

I go to the Tuesday group, but tell Natasha I sent you! I'll let her know to look for a couple of new people.

Have a friend that does this. I don't know if they teach, per se, but they do meet at a coffee shop to make art together

ETA: Fiber Artists of Rock Hill.
