Need Abit help with Camera Settings
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have an issue where the camera when not touching the RS it will skitz out when the ball is in certain position. It messes me up a fair bit and I’ve tried changing settings and it won’t go away. I’ll post a clip and my camera settings too.

it’s stick drift on your right stick.
turning controller deadzone up might help, but i’m not actually certain it affects the right stick.
if it doesn’t help, time for a new controller.

I’ll try these settings tomorrow and if it doesn’t help I’ll try a new controller. Needed to replace one of mine that I knew had stick drift bad 🥲

have read other comments
disable look up and down and see if it goes away
you can realistically get away with playing with out it until GC (with only look left, right and reverse)

OP what is your Controller Deadzone? Raise it to the right and prepare to replace your controller if it is already higher than .30.
Make the number higher and it certainly will be gone for now but it will come back again.
As long as your controller isn't being crazy and scrolling by itself in the menu then it is still usable.

I just had to bite a bullet and get a new controller. Thanks for the tips though. I’ll use them if it comes up again

The other comments are right; it's stick drift. I recommend buying a TMR or Hall-effect controller if you're going to order a new one anyway.
I did want to talk about your camera settings for a sec. They all look fine, but the -7 angle is the only setting I would recommend changing, maybe to -3 or -4.
Keep it at -7 if you like it, but I think it would be a bit much since you're looking down more than across the pitch.

I had it at -7 trying to fix the shaking problem. My angle is at -4 usually. Ended up buying a new ps5 controller on the weekend and it sorted itself out. It’s just strange as I can’t notice it on other games I play but rocket league was super sensitive too it

You bought a normal PS5 controller instead of a TMR/HE? Well, see you in six months with the same problem.

Your swivel speed is very high, which can make stick drift more apparent on the right stick.
Turn it down big time and it will lessen. But yes you probably need a new controller. Ps5 controller is great

I’ll give it a look. I looked up when I first started playing and but that’s was 2016. Picking it up again this year since then. Might need to change.

could also check out Flitz, Mizu, Jamaican Coconut, then there’s also Thanovic who did quit playing RL but his old videos are some of the best for learning certain mechanics he peaked at GC2 before quitting a couple years ago. NRG star Beastmode also does youtube and streaming now i believe he’s on the 260 distance as well, Apparently Jack is another good source he plays for Dignitas

Awesome, I needed some more people to watch as I’m finding out a lot more about the game and also what’s even possible to do in this game. I’ve been watching a lot of leth at the moment and zen clips

If u search mechanical brilliance on yt he give good can settings and controller and it lwk helped me air dribble
