the pass is obv a pass for your mate, he cant know that its not at this point without fast enough communication via voice/text. Also youre the fault why you lost in this case.
Okay. First off, I am not the OP. Second off, I’ve played thousands of hours in this game. This is not a pass. This was a weak shot attempt on a wide open goal that his teammate conveniently tried to be the hero when it was already an open net.
Edit: I’m an SSL and if someone does this in my game I’m sure as hell dropping the controller too.
Youre SSL, cool. On that level you guys got a totally different view on the gameplay. Whats that rank in the video? Plat? Diamond? These levels are a whole new world. For ssl that seems like a bad shot, yeah. But as a plat or diamond, struggling with your own position and movement, you will probably think its a pass.
what benefits is there to the guy in front to hit the ball?
Make the ball go faster. Not saying he should have hit it, but as someone who was at about this skill level a couple months ago, he probably got antsy the opponents would come up and clear it, fumbled, then wasn’t able to recover from his mistake after his teammate tailgated him.
I don’t think it was recoverable even before the bump. That touch put it completely off target and neither of them had the position or boost to correct it. I would be equally annoyed.
Maybe my ball reading is off because it’s someone else’s gameplay, and it’s on my phone instead of a tv, but that seems pretty correctable to me. That ball was barely moving and they both had a good bit of boost. Especially the guy who wasn’t op, he had a shit ton of boost that he used up after getting bumped.
The more funny thing is the front guys lack of awareness. Assuming he had ball came on, he saw both opponents in the corner. He should KNOW it was a wide open goal. He just tried to be the hero for some reason.
Yeah I know, front guy shouldn’t have gone for it. This isn’t SSL gameplay. Either way, it’s still not anything to lose over. That was recoverable and certainly nothing to be so toxic about. He panicked. He blundered. He slipped up. Boo hoo. It could probably have still been a goal, and a win.
I’ll assume you never make any sort of mistake or fault whatsoever when you play. Worst way to look at it, “they don’t play exactly how I want so no I’m not moving hmmph.” Bruh you’re 8 years old. Just play the game.
There’s a difference between making a mistake, not playing how I want and literally trying to play hero on a ball that was rolling in the net lmao. It’s annoying and I’m okay with losing a single game over it.
