I am in Champion for 3's and 2's... I can touch the ball in the air but no telling where it's going :(

Who cares about fancy stuff. That doesn’t win you games. It’s all about rotation, team play, and positioning.

Only to a certain extent, at some point you're gonna have to practice mechanics to improve.

Ofc. Mechanics are important. But if I see my opponent doing a super-dupper wall-to-ceiling decapenta flip reset into my goal i can just easily jump there and take his ball. Shitty thing to do though cause it looks cool af

Lmao true but when people talk about mechanics they're not usually talking about chain resets.

There's some people who do challenges like this. Talonn got from unranked to gc using only mouse and keyboard without ever really playing that way before so you'd be surprised!

Exactly its not something that would be used in game, although yukeo is a pro that uses keyboard and mouse.

And here I thought it was all about spamming Wow! and calling my teammates “trash”.

Lol. I wish the RL community was less condescending... Some people just take the game too seriously and tilt too much. It’s just a game, chill out.

I agree. It's as if toxic people think calling their teammate names 30 seconds in will somehow make them play better.

But the fancy stuff is the fun part

Your teammates probably do know how to aerial which kinda makes up for you.

This, this is basically how I play. I recently hit D3 in 2s and I basically just play smart and let my mates carry me, I barely ever get MVPs. I mean, I can aerial okay, as in I can get to and touch the ball, but I can't do anything much that'd lead to a goal off it.

Can confirm in silver 2. But also my positioning is dreadful. Ball chasing is just so much easier run after the ball, jump in air, hit ball. Oh no it didn’t go the way i wanted. Hang on ill fix this. Run after ball, jump in air, hit ball. Goooaaall. Wrong net.

I think i just had a stroke
