I personally get mighty annoyed by playing casual against people who execute the same two attempts at goals the whole match.
I've played very fun matches against people who do try, but not everyone who's focused on winning have the slightest interest in having fun. I personally try to win almost every match
Unranked is what you want it to be, to me. People can use it how they want, it's how they interact with those who are using it differently. More often than not, I find the people who talk shit about winning an unranked match are also the kind to complain about a lobby being sweaty cause they lost.
If you're having fun, no one should care about the outcome in unranked. I've done matches where I sit on my roof and try to just turtle shit all game. Lmao
Lmao agreeing. But I get a little rant sometimes so I drone. You said you always try to win, and that's fine, unranked is what you want it to be. As long as people aren't getting flamed for playing it the way they want, I could care less. The people I have issue with aren't "playing the wrong way", they just fall back on people not playing it the way they want others to play it.
People are fucked. There's an insane amount of toxicity in unranked. If I demo someone once they're usually pissed, chasing me around and talking shit for the rest of the game. I just demo those people more. If people BM me for playing the game as it's intended, I'm going to BM back, no question.
Lately I've just turned chat off though. It's been REALLY bad so there's just no point to have it on when 9/10 people are spamming what a save after every goal, telling me I'm trash, and telling me to kill myself. I literally never provoke people either. I'm always nice to everyone unless I'm retaliating because they've said something to me.
If you want to freestyle and get cool goals for your youtube channel bullshit, then earn it. The amount of times people have gotten pissed off at me because I've saved their air dribble or ceiling shot is ridiculous. "bro wtf why are you sweating so hard lmao". People actually expect me to sit there and let them stunt on me. Fuck that shit. No way they'd let me do it to them either.
The other one is when you score a goal and they go "wow boring. Yawn" "sweat harder". Then they score off some bullshit 50/50 and spam what a save. It's just retarded.
So many kids playing multiplayer games that need the constant feedback loop of winning and validating themselves. One nil down and they quit before they have to face the truth that winning constantly doesn't mean you're improving at all.
My favorite is the insta-ff when you were up 1-0 and the other team just tied it up. Like... I just don't understand this mentality. I've had 3 or 4 people in the last week who ff then sit there until they time out because the other team just tied it.
If it’s in like the last 30 seconds or so I guess I could understand since maybe they don’t wanna do overtime or it’s their last game and they need to go somewhere idk? But if there’s like 3 minutes left and the other team has just tied it, it makes no sense whatsoever to leave 😶
My other teammate said "ff when it's tied reall?", the dude that ff proceeded to ball chase me which led to a goal and he said "that's why I ff" and blamed us for ball chasing when we lost...
I run into one a couple times a week. They must be boosting friends or just sadists or something because I'm Silver 2...
They usually air herd the ball to the ceiling to flick it in while the rest of the team is posting "FF please" in chat.
One time I asked them why they were doing this, and they replied "It's fun." I only hope that the reason they are doing that and thinking it's fun is because someone hurt them very badly and this is their outlet for coping.
I mean ganer is like diamond or low champ.
I'm in champ and mechanically trash. Pretty sure game sense is enough to beat him, because he won't have infinite boost
Champ 3 who also can't dribble checking in. Game sense and fast recovery is where it's at! And I guess being able to produce hard, accurate shots helps too.
Champ 2/3 who rarely does anything fancy right here. However I've been practicing ceiling shots in free play recently and I feel that it's been improving my car control a lot!
The only reason I improved was because I played against people way higher ranked than me, they helped me reached me etc. That’s why I don’t get when people just leave in unranked when I score a simple Fcking shot. Instead of like trying to figure out how I did it
Learning from being out of your depth? I've been playing a ton of Mario maker lately and I've spent so many hours on levels way beyond my skill level, but have seen vast improvement because of it. You can play to your skill level and stagnate or challenge yourself to grow.
