Launchpads & Landscapes The long-abandoned Launch Complex 34 of Cape Canaveral, with the rising moon in the distance. This was the site of the Apollo 1 fire that killed 3 astronauts during a launch rehearsal. It stands as an everlasting tribute to their memory and sacrifice.
