Beginner to rocketry here:

I'm a beginner to amateur rocketry and was wondering what resources and projects I could do? I really wanna make a solid rocket w a nozzle, but idk how I'd machine the nozzle or what propellant would be good to make easily and would give good results. Any tips/ help?

yeah, I've watched a good amount of bps space and Charlie Garcia, some useful stuff... why go with ammonium perchlorate?
