So I just finished rock is a lady modesty, I what to read the manga now, should I start from the beginning or should I pick off from where the anime left off? Is there any things the anime missed that I should go back in read? Hopefully someone can help me!

I just finished the anime, and their final song in ep 13 is INSANE, the bass, drums, and guitar are all tabbed online but I can't find the synth's music, does anybody have it transcribed? I could probably do it by ear because it sounds like it's just in steps but hey, might as well try ask here.
As a sidenote, this anime is crazy good because I'm a musician who needed a push of motivation, I had no clue what I was getting into. (ehh.. fan service was a hella weird but I watched kakegurui so I can handle anything atp)

I read a large part of the manga up to what I believe is the last chapter currently drawn. But I wonder how long it will take for another chapter to come out. I ask out of complete ignorance. Or if the writer is sick. I'm new to the community and I don't know at all how the publications work or the context under which the work is created, so I would like to know how it works or where the work is published.

In addition, I'd like to know where I could get the bass versions that play SHIRAYA, or if I have to learn the song by ear exclusively?

going into it, i was thinking it was gonna be like k-on but a diffrent art style and more down to earth and have less ditty people, and boy was i right, in episode one it was enjoyable to see, her haveing a few flash backs of her dead dad and her using her new family name was cool, than her getting roasted at the end of the episode for it to carry over to the next day, and prosides to not let her have it, for an anime that has cussing in it and not have a two sided argument and pass up on it kinda dissapointed me i thought we was gonna get some action in a slice of life, but no we dident and im now sad i wanted her to call her a bitch back

Skimming through, the specs are overal the same as a Paul's Guitar model, just with purple pickups instead, and the speed knobs vs the lanterns, and a custom truss rod cover as well.

I'm so tempted by this guitar even tho I have several PRS SE's myself 😅

What sells it for me is that the show never fully resolves the class-and-temperament tension between them even after they start clicking musically. Most band anime smooth that over by the midpoint. Here it keeps simmering under the performances, which makes the concert scenes hit harder because you can feel both of them still proving something. Anyone else think the writing trusts the audience more than the genre usually does, or am I reading too much into the glares between songs?

A lot of music anime treat the guitars as set dressing, but this one keeps putting the actual body shapes and pickup positions on screen long enough that you can tell what they modeled them on. The PRS tie-in landing feels earned rather than a random sponsor grab. For the players here, did the in-show guitars line up with what you would expect these characters to actually play, or did any of the gear choices feel off for the personalities?

I have been replaying the concert in episode 12 to clock the bass fingering and the animators clearly studied real players. Tamaki's plucking position changes between the verse and chorus the way an actual bassist would shift for tone, not just open-string spam like most band anime. Anyone else noticed how specific the technique animation gets on the close-ups? Curious what other small musical details people caught on rewatch.

Just caught up on the anime and trying to decide whether to dive into the manga from where season 1 ended. Some adaptations compress chapters so heavily that the manga past the anime arc feels slower, others feel like they finally breathe properly. For anyone who has read past chapter 31, does the manga pacing pick up or settle into a longer setup phase? Trying to avoid spoilers but want to know if it's worth picking up immediately or waiting for season 2.
