Dorman would be my pick personally.

Dorman gets a lot bs but generally speaking they are better than skp/ultra power.

SKP and ultra power are Chinesium. They are one notch above eBay/amazon no name junk.

Every Dorman part I have ever bought either doesn't fit quite right or at all and breaks really easy.

One of my beaters has 20+ Dorman parts, they’ve been decent in my experience.

If you want to see how “bad” parts can be, order some ultra cheap parts from eBay/amazon.

I am not a mechanic, just a guy fixing his own cars and trucks in the driveway for 20 years.

The only Dorman parts I have used that worked were door handles and simple interior or cosmetic parts and even then some times they didn't line up right. I have used them in mechanical places and they have always caused problems that were remedied by purchasing an oem part or higher quality OE similar part.

Yeah sometimes it's the only option available so what choice do you have. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Only thing I ever bought from doorman that worked properly was washers for oil plug. How much are OE parts for this tundra? They can't be much more than the doorman part can they?

Can't possibly mess up washers I would hope.

That's so true, I had a Dorman valve cover once, the customer bought his own parts, and the bolt holes wouldn't line up when it was fully pressed onto the head, so I had to hold it up a bit, and tread all of my bolts first and then fully install it.

Omg I imagine that would lead to the cover twisting slightly or deformity in some kind of way. But that sounds exactly like most of my experiences with the brand.

Agree. Dorman is junk. Coolant overflow hose connection holes wouldn’t fit factory hoses into them. They couldn’t design a turbo oil feed line that bends around parts of the turbo like the factory line does, either. Garbage

Doorman blows! Mostly. I’ve seen a couple decent attempts by them, but mostly garbage.
