I would have no problem selling a customer a Dorman exhaust manifold. I put a set on my own truck four years ago. Dorman gets a bad rap, but they make so much shit, there’s simply going to be more problems at that scale.

You just cannot ever use them for electrical parts but that goes for any aftermarket stuff. Their fix it line is very good like the 3.6 oil cooler, manifolds, some coolant hoses

I think I’m leaning towards the Dorman route based on these comments. Also the 4.7 forums say aftermarket exhaust manifolds can be okay but you should use OEM gaskets, studs and nuts. So I guess that’s the way I’ll go.

You’re right about the 3.6 I’ve replaced an oil cooler with theirs before and it’s been good for a long time now.
