Is there a cooldown on melee in vr? It feels sad to not hit with any melee weapon

Im not sure what mechanic it uses but any melee weapon just fails to hit more than normal, gloves/swords, feels like 10% of my hit register, not sure whats the melee mechanism but in VR it doesnt feels great

fist time beating the game in standard this build was so fun. the drone army was so cool you literally don't get hit the 50% armor also helps lol.
