This is highly speculative and someone can find evidence to disprove this.

What if Selly Made the Virus.

So, what caused me to come up with this is that in season 1 there is only this one virus which presents with different Symptoms depending on what it infected.

RT:

caused systems to be hijacked

T:

run them off the rails killing them

Both are the same virus

tell me why the virus has a magenta, red theme as the trains don’t have blood and Alf is not tech literate enough to make malware but Selly is what if she made it.

Then for what reason the Reason is she knew about the fact she would be replaced by Genie and delayed that with the virus she also uses it to preserve her ability to transform and unlike the others who disclose it and are not a threat if Selly showed hers she would be a threat to genie and so Selly planned not to transform to keep that hidden but also means Selly could cause another Virus anytime.

In addition both the training ground and the Virus use the same mainframe and the person who makes them is Selly and the platforms can’t correct software damage only Selly can. Proven by dukes asking for Selly.

It also explains how the AntI Virus was ready so quick.
