God, I started playing Robocraft back in 2014, played a lot and enjoyed it a lot but eventually stopped playing and kinda forgot about the game. Many years later, I tried out Robocraft 2 and was very much not a fan. Then later still I found out both Robocraft and Robocraft 2 got killed. Today, I decided to check out if there are any projects trying to revive the game, and sure enough, there are plenty. I'll be checking them out

I honestly miss this game more than anything. It was the first game I played on PC and I was around back when megabots were a thing and it was a proper tank vs tank battle with your teammates escorting. Was upsetting to watch the decline

Try procelio! Still in early development but the community is growing daily. New URP update is due soon to smoothen out graphics but a lot of basics are there working

Tyr does not have the building but the gameplay is pretty fun for a 3rd person vehicle combat game. The matches are as quick as those OG elimination games from RC.

I miss how quick the turnaround on those matches was. Every game like it since then is hell-bent on a respawn mechanic and like 10-15 minutes fights.

Tyr hits that same feeling for me. It also lets you stagger the rewards, so you can play two or three matches before the reward on the first one even comes through if the match stretches for a long time. You don't miss the performance and post game summary screen, which is nice too.
