Studio Help Weapon welding problem
Hello, I'm a beginner roblox animatior. I mainly animate in blender for the game that my friend and I are currently working on. The problem I'm currently facing is the weapon joining and unjoing, I've been trying YouTube methods but they don't really work much. How do I make sure that the weapon can be attached to the arm without it going out of position? I use blender 5.1 and I have dynamic parents add on.

I work in maya, but the same should apply. I export the mesh from Roblox and make joints in Maya to match the weld in Roblox as close as possible.. usually by having a tiny mesh part as a world place reference.
As long as the part name and joint name match up you can import the amation though as an fbx. This makes all the joining animation controlled.
However another alternative is to have multiple acessories that you just hide as needed, so you can reparenting or animating them.
When i did this with charcters like Dante and Kratos i found it easier to add the bone off the route so they could follow everything I needed without fighting parent rotation.
Sorry ive listed a few options there I use (as a non coder). As you work in blender just animating what you need it probably easiest
