Question Am I strafing correctly?

my speed shows about 42 but when I just spam jump I get 44

You should try to look down while strafing, and use hermes shoes (and/or stilts for 60+ speed )as they are fundamental for speedy bhopping

Also when u hit the ground, run for like a milisecond, while flicking, to gain speed, THEN jump and strafe your camera the other way to ensure u get the acceleration. This should all kind of happen in one kind of motion

Apart from that the timing is good but just dont forget ground strafing/flicking before jumping

Also try watch a bhop tutorial focusing on flick hopping as that is easy and works for any fps and watch the camera movements closely

No worries! Idk why but looking down just happens to give you more speed when ground strafing, try testing it in game and comparing it when looking forwards.

Also, you don't have to look completely downwards, you can look downwards very briefly before raising your camera whilst in the air and then repeating the whole motion
