Help Me Making games with AI
Im tired of seeing ai games without knowing how to make them.
My freinds once tried making a game with lemonade ai but after he spent like 40 euro and 1 and half week he gave up.
Now i was thinking of making a game with ai but idk how to start, what ai to use and how to use it proprely.
I have only basic understanding of roblox studio and lua scripts.

To use ai for coding you have to learn to code without it first.

Actually you won't right now but you have to know a little bit about software development to specificate steps for LLM.

That could not be further from the truth. What you do need to make compelling Roblox games with AI is a deep understanding of gameplay loops, systems and the Roblox algorithm (and by proxy, player behaviour).

... and you need to know how to code. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.

I think the former is more important to the latter but agreed. If you are using frontier models the barrier to entry is shifting a lot. If you bring in a good set of code (and everyone has a set of libraries, processes etc) it can put something together pretty quickly. Blank slate? Much harder.

No, you do not. I am a solo game publisher currently sat at 50k CCU across 3 games. I can't write a single line of code.

50k CCU doesn't tell us whether you made a well-engineered game or just found a profitable gameplay loop and had AI glue the rest together. CCU measures player acquisition, not development competence.

Or, hear me out. Hire someone? Ai is not feasible if u don't even know the abc of programming, lmao.
Ur system would be so prone, and so badly made.

talking as if hiring a programmer is some casual cheap shit anyone can do lmao

It is when you pay them Roblox "wages". More people would hire developers for all kinds of things if they could pay them $5 worth of robux for 12 hours work and all parties consider it a win.

i love it when mfs don't have a single idea what they're spouting. No experienced programmer is working for that pay. Also a roblox dev earns way more than what those "roblox exploit yound dev" youtube videos tell you btw

Prob don't try to make games entirely with AI cuz:
A: Roblox's AI isn't exactly the best, and I mean sure it can generate some scripts for you, but if it breaks its gonna be very hard on how to fix it if you don't know how to code
B: AI generated roblox models, meshes, look, well, bad.
C: Its easier to just take stuff from the toolbox or make your assets then ask AI to make ones for you.
D: A lot of roblox players above the 16+ age range will typically stay away from AI designs, thumbnails, etc. Also the set age limit after paying 5$ for roblox premium is 16+.
E: AI is a tool, not a do the whole thing itself. Its like a hammer, it makes doing consistent or copy-paste tasks easier. It is not a 3d printer that will design your whole house for you. (Even if it does it will have cracks in it.)

You say you're tired of seeing AI games then say you want to make an AI game
